Ode to Inductive reasoning

What is Inductive Reasoning?

Oh inductive reasoning, how I cherish thee so.
You’re different from deductive, by being probably true.
For today, when the sun rises,
And that day is a day like today,
With confidence and ease, you say it will tomorrow too.

I enjoy your phrase of ‘some’ and how you’re not stuck on ‘all’.
Although I know, you may not always be true,
Please continue to stick with me.
You’re an argumentative pro.

Okay, in case this didn’t work out the way I wanted it to, or if I got you confused, I’ll tell you straight-up what inductive reasoning is. Overall, inductive reasoning is arguing through probability by saying that something will most likely happen. The premises are based on something being most likely true i.e.,

Some dogs chase cats.
Fido is a dog.
Therefore Fido chases cats.

In this case, Fido may not want to chase cats. Unlike a definitive deductive argument, inductive arguments may not be necessarily true. Rather, they could be true.
